EncryptME Wins IET Security Award

We're delighted to announce that Masabi's EncryptME won the security category at the IET's annual Innovation in Engineering Awards.

Ben Whitaker, our head of security development, received the award from TV personality and science enthusiast Johnny Ball and Lance Howarth of ARM at an awards ceremony on Tuesday night.

The security category was sponsored by ARM, and in making the award the judges noted that "EncryptME is a mature offering, embodying some sound underpinning technology for the burgeoning market of secure m-commerce, where it could reduce risks for both mobile operators and 3rd party application providers."

This industry recognition further builds on the validation of EncryptME that we received from BT's Cryptographic labs earlier this year and underlines Masabi's position at the forefront of mobile security.
