Westmoreland Transit Launches New Mobile Ticketing App Powered by Masabi’s Justride Ticketing Platform

The new ‘WestMore Tix’ app allows passengers to purchase tickets anytime, anywhere

 

Westmoreland and New York -- April 22, 2019 -- Masabi, the company bringing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ticketing and payments to public transit and The Westmoreland County Transit Authority is pleased to announce that passengers can now purchase tickets to ride the bus via a mobile app. The new mobile ticketing app, WestMore Tix, offers an upgrade to current ticketing options by enabling riders to purchase and display tickets directly on their smartphones. WestMore Tix is now available for download from Google Play and the Apple App Store.

 

Passengers using Westmoreland’s mobile ticketing app, powered by Masabi’s Justride Mobility Platform, can pay for tickets using a credit or debit card, or via digital payment services such as Masterpass and Apple Pay. Monthly, 10-Trip, and single passes for all three zones are available. Once purchased, passengers activate their tickets and then show them to the driver when boarding the bus.
