Masabi and MBTA to bring mTicketing to Boston Commuter Ferries
Masabi’s first US deployment just got a even more exciting with the announcement that those commuting by boat will get mobile ticketing as well as those travelling by rail.
The ‘T’ (as the MBTA is affectionately know in Boston) boat system comprises of three routes and offers a regular service into central Boston.
When the mobile app was announced the response was overwhelmingly positive, leading to those at the MBTA looking to where else mobile ticketing could be deployed and we’re pleased that we are able to integrate this from launch.
