Our CEO Ben Whitaker will be talking on the transport panel at Digital Money Forum 2011 this week. The annual event is being held in London at the Guoman Charing Cross Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday.
Ben will be participating in the talk named 'Expert Panel: The transit vanguard' at 4:00 pm on Wednesday 2nd March. Other panelists include Shashi Verma from Transport for London; Jenni Borg from the Department for Transport; and Phil Blythe from the University of Newcastle. The panel will be chaired by John Elliot from Consult Hyperion, the event organisers.
The panel will discuss how transport payments are expected to be amongst the first major volume uses of mobile commerce and non-cash payments, and will talk about what other new payment schemes could learn from experiences in the transport sector.
